It’s a heartwarming story. When the Toczko family lost their home due to unemployment, their neighbors invited them to share their home. The story was told on ABC by Diane Sawyer. (The link is no longer functional.) The segment is short, like most TV news stories. Many images of the two families happily co-existing.
I’m glad that the idea of sharing housing, of two families living under one roof, received mainstream exposure. Maybe more Americans will come to think of sharing housing as a good way to live.
