Sharing Housing: Finding and Keeping Good Housemates Rotating Header Image

Golden Rule

The Golden Rule – “do unto others what you would have them do to you” is key to living well with your housemates.  If you don’t like to walk into a kitchen with dirty dishes in the sink, don’t leave dirty dishes in the sink.  If you want to be told when a housemate is going to have friends over, make sure you tell your housemate when are going to be entertaining. These are obvious examples.

Being aware of what you do and how what you do affects your home.  If you treat everyone as you would want to be treated, you will have a good, comfortable place to live.
